The Music Department has just held its annual Music Showcase and Prize Giving on Thursday, 19^th October, in the Kaipatiki Theatre. It was an entertaining night full of fantastic music and quality performances from the students of all school levels. The department celebrated students’ involvement in musical activities as well as their artistic and academic achievement in the area of music. We are proud to announce that the top music student for 2017 is Julia Akashi (Y13) and the recipient of the prestigious Excellence Award is Erik Grundy (Y13).

On behalf of all music students, we would like to thank the itinerant teachers of music for their ongoing effort. Their dedication and professionalism were crucial to the success of the department and its students. The music department is a vibrant place where students can develop their talents and gain skills leading to recognised qualifications in the area of Music.
