2018 MUNA Students Feedback to Glenfield Rotary

In May this year, Solomon Ioane and Ryan Dernie (representing Cuba) attended the 2018 MUNA (Model United Nations Assembly), made possible thanks to the financial support of Glenfield Rotary Club.
This week Solomon and Ryan, along with Mr. Snookes were invited to attend a Glenfield Rotary Club meeting to give feedback on their experience and accept a certificate of participation. Both Solomon and Ryan spoke passionately about the experience and new learning that occurred through being involved in such a worthwhile activity. The ability to engage in international diplomacy in a fun and humorous way alongside some of the upper North Island’s best aspiring diplomats was an opportunity Solomon and Ryan were extremely grateful for.
Glenfield Rotary Club also took the opportunity to thank Glenfield College for their support in the Rotary Atlas and Rotary Dictionary Programme. A certificate of thanks was presented to Mr. Snookes.
