After several years of our existing uniform, the Board of Trustees of Glenfield College, following consultation with our community and student body have decided to change both our uniform and the supplier of our uniform from 2018.

As such, please find attached to this post a Yarntons flyer, advertising our current school uniform at a discounted rate of 30%. We would all like to thank Yarntons for their fantastic service to our school over the years.

We are excited to announce that the new supplier of our uniforms will be NZ Uniforms (NZU), who are based at 19 Orbit Drive Albany.

Our intent is to grandparent out our existing uniform with our Year 9’s of 2018 wearing the new uniform and the Year 10’s – 13’s still being able to wear and purchase uniform items from Yarntons for the next few years. It will also be possible to incorporate NZU garments with the existing uniform.

Please note, there will be no mufti for Year 13’s as of the start of  2018. Students will be able to wear their existing uniform or support this with our exclusive, new Year 13 shirt/blouse and jersey/cardigan which will be different in design to the new school uniform and note, not compulsory.

The new uniform details, including details of how to join NZU’s ‘Uniform Club’ (save-up to make purchases), prices, store location and uniform items and design etc will be published and release to our community soon.

Every effort has been made to improve the quality of the uniform garments and pricing consideration has seen that all products that are similar including blouses, shirts, jerseys, skirts, shorts, trousers, jackets etc are at a lower cost than with our current supplier, prior to the 30% discount.
