On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we are delighted to announce we have appointed Paul McKinley as the new Principal of Glenfield College. Paul will take up his role on Friday the 29th of September ready for the start of Term 4, commencing 16 October 2017.
Paul McKinley brings to Glenfield College a wealth of experience from senior and Deputy Headmaster roles at Westlake Boys High School (10 years), and his last 11 years as Associate Principal at Mount Albert Grammar School, the second largest co-educational school in New Zealand.
Paul is looking forward to bringing his ideas and varied skill set to build on the strong and proud traditions of Glenfield College, and growing the roll to become the school of choice for the community.
Paul is very excited to be joining Glenfield College and immersing himself into the school and community.
The Board, having been through a thorough and professional process with help from Blackcat Education, are fully confident in the appointment of Paul McKinley to the role. We strongly believe Paul will maintain and extend Glenfield College’s impressive NCEA results of 2016 and look forward to introducing him to the school community shortly.
In conclusion, we would like to wish our outgoing Principal Mr CJ Healey every success as he begins his new role as Principal of Long Bay College. Under his direction and guidance in the last 16 months, the College has forged ahead and experienced great successes. Go well, CJ.
On behalf of the Board and Staff, we would like to thank all our Parents, Caregivers and Whanau for your continued support.
Kind regards,
Nicky Primrose, Chairperson, Board of Trustees.
