On Wednesday we had Honour Zhu and James Dunning from Glenfield Library visit us at lunch to demonstrate some fun and educational board games to our students.
The big hits were:
Mū tōrere – a strategy game played by pre-colonial Māori and also Kaupapa Kaupapa – a Māori word game. Students also learned how to play Sushi Go which involved a lot of counting and understanding of a sushi menu!
