At assembly on Tuesday, certificates were awarded to students who completed the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver Awards. To complete the Awards, participants are required to complete four sections at each level: Voluntary Service, Skills, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey. At Gold level, participants also complete a Residential Project. The Award is a great way of demonstrating that students are well-rounded and can assist in applying for jobs, university and apprenticeships. If students in Years 11-13 would like to participate, in either Bronze or Silver, please see Mr Gardner. Students in year 10 can begin the Bronze Award in Term 2.
Silver Award recipients: Mitchell Atkinson, Henry Croft, Cris Escandor, Rianne Erika Framo, Emily Freestone, Tayla Mower, Jordan Page, Zane Paki, Dylan Ravji, Heath Spicer and Conrad Vink.
Bronze Award recipients: Jessica Bickford, Savanna Du Plessis, Rebekah Freestone, Daniel Herbert, Brianna Hill, Loralei Jull, Ayush Kumar, Samuel Legg, Luke Oborn and Lucas Palmer.
