Glenfield College music students celebrated NZ Music Month by performing at each of the four school assemblies in May. Performances by the senior Rock Band, Baroque ensemble and instrumental and vocal soloists – Julia Akashi (trombone), Keitaro Sasabuchi (violin), Jack Jang (guitar), Chris Webb (picture below) and Mele Show (picture below) (guitar and vocal) – were well-received and revealed some genuine musical talents. Senior music students are now busy preparing for their exam in solo music performance which will be held in Music Dept. on Thursday, 23 June.
