Former Head Student Lucia Cotos returned to Glenfield College this week to talk to Year 9 Social Studies students about her perspectives on the successes and speed-bumps of gender equality so far, and where to next. Miss Cotos was interviewed by students of 9Si as part of their ‘Are We There Yet?’ Programme of Study, which is part of a wider project being run by the Museum of Auckland. The views of Miss Cotos were insightful and helped many of the students, who were able to deepen their understanding of how others in our local community view gender equality.
