Year 9 students have been learning about politics in NZ and how important it is to make informed decisions about who it is you vote for leading up to Election Day 2020. Students have been reviewing policies and looking at arguments for and against the referendum bills and today were given the opportunity to cast their own vote in ‘Kids Voting Te Pōti a Ngā Tamariki 2020’.
The votes students at Glenfield College cast will be counted and tallied along with those cast around the country for students to compare with how young people voted vs the actual election day results.
