Today our senior students were engaged in conversations with their mentors and whānau in order to set goals and help raise academic achievement for the current year. Whilst this took place, our junior students undertook a varied programme of problem-based learning challenge workshops such as PE workshops about the anatomy of the body, a digital bootcamp where all aspects of online learning were covered and they also completed a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) task that involved building towers for Year 9 and their own version of the Mars Rover for Year 10. The students were engaged in the various tasks and their collaborative problem-solving skills were highlighted throughout the day.
