The Glenfield College team competed at at Onehunga High School this past Saturday. There were 44 teams attending from as far away as Tauranga. Glenfield’s GCEC 2918 had 3 teams competing.

In the preliminaries, we ranked (2918E) 6th, (2918G) 7th, and (2918H) 37th out of 44

2918E and G picked each other for the playoffs working with another team. This alliance went on to be eliminated in the Semifinals after some hard, well-played matches.

It was pleasing to see the collegiality with which our teams worked together. They worked convivially with teams from other schools. A great preparation for the teams as they prepare for the National Competition at Pinehurst next weekend.
