Badminton is a popular sport played by both Boys and Girls here at Glenfield College. There are a number of different grades to suit all abilities in the North Harbour competition. In addition to this, the competition is split into Junior and Senior divisions, with seniors (Years 11, 12 and 13) playing in Term 2 and juniors (Years 9 and 10) playing in Term3.
High-Performance Coaching
Every term a specialist coach from Harbour Badminton will come in to coach our students. Talented students have the opportunity to trial for North Harbour Rep teams.
Venue: All competition matches are held at the North Harbour Badminton Centre in Forrest Hill.
Required Equipment: All students will need to supply their own Badminton racquets and appropriate footwear. School PE uniform must be worn during all training and games.
Fees: $40
Includes: Coaching, Transport to the venue and Competition Fees
Additional fees may apply for extended or invitational competitions.
