Climbing is a tough sport with competitions spread out throughout the year. At the moment GC has a couple of Climbers who regularly compete in the Auckland wide series and have had great success. Climbing is one of the smaller sports offered at GC but is something we are looking to grow participation in.
Competition Structure: Auckland College Climbing Series (4 Events)
Season dates: Terms 1 & 2 (National events term 3 & 4)
Venue: Various (Auckland Region)
Required Equipment: PE Uniform, Appropriate footwear (no open shoes, for safety purposes)
Fees: $25 per event
Additional fees apply to students who participate in the National Competition.
