ANZAC commemorations were held today. Our head girl and boy reminded us of the importance of ANZAC Day, followed from excerpts from soldiers’ letters read by students. The Last Post was played as the flag descended to half mast. The hymn, How Great Thou Art was sung, followed by Binyon’s ode:
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
